NaNoWriMo Results

Well, NaNoWriMo officially ends today. The contest allowed students to write and compete for prizes. Students will be submitting their stories and Ms. Osborn

and the newspaper class will be tallying the totals. The results will be posted as soon as they are determined. Good luck to everyone who entered and I hope you had fun.

Every week some girls of 7th and 8th graders have been going to girls circle. Girls circle is a program to express your feeling and to meet new friends. It is alot of fun! (: the person who runs it is Trista Boyce. Every week we have a lesson and have an activity! I have become more closer with my friends and I loved it! (: We have two weeks until it is over! Then we get a PARTTYYY! (: I incourage you to participle in activies!

MVMS first quarter pride trip !!! By : Sydney T

The 1st quarter pride trip was to Laser Mania !!! We had it rented out for 2 hours of everlasting fun ! We played Golf, lazer tag, and bumper cars there was also arcade games. Everyone seemed to be having the best time ! Mr. Zeirow and Mr. Sidford were really getting into laser tag and were scoring the highest on which ever game they were in ! Many of the students tried to win big on Deal or No Deal , but only two students won big on it . The two students were Preston R who won 800 tickets on double deal or no deal and Sydney T who won 400 tickets !

After 2 hours of unlimited fun , 8 games of laser tag , unlimited bumpercars , and mini golf , MVMS loaded the buses for a quick bite to eat and was headed home !
