Haiti Fundraiser Results!

The newspaper counted up the money and here is what we got....

To decide who the winners were we counted up all the money and took the girl with the highest amount and the boy. So.....TAYLOR SO. AND JACOB W. ARE THE WINNERS!! They will be doing something embarrassing in front of the whole school. The teachers are still deciding what these two students will have to do.

The total amount of money we raised for Haiti is $56.70

Basketball Ganes...8th grade girls

The eighth grade girls had a game in St. George t weekend. The score was 21 to 37...they won. Jaycee W. says that every player did an awesome job at their positions and most of them scored. They have another game this weekend in St. George. :)

Groundhog Day

Today, February 2 is groundhog day. Groundhog day is when, people take the groundhog out of his cage and hold him out and if he sees his shadow then there will be six more weeks of winter. If he doesn't see his shadow then we will have an early spring. (the official name of the groundhog is Puxatony Phil). Today they took him out of his cage and he......SAW HIS SHADOW :( Looks like there will be six more weeks of winter:)
