Boys Middle School basketball is going to start playing this month. There first game is going to be this month against White pine , around the second week of January, we will play a double header here and then we will go up there the next week and play a double header up there wish us luck.

Treyton Michael '' Mickey'' Volcom III is now a member of the staff, since the chicken nugget was getting critacized, we had to hire 'Mickey'. He is 14, 5'8'', and 123 lbs. Letter From Soldiers

WE sent boxes of stuff to some soldiers and this is a letter we got back from them.

I wold like to thank you for the packages that were sent to us. We appreciate everything, anythingfrom home just shows that we are not forgotten especially during the holidays.
Many of the SOldiers do not recieve any mail, besisdes old bills and to get genuine heart felt package sent from complete strangers gives them a burst of happiness which is this enviornment is the best gift you can give. Welcome Back to School! It's now 2010!!! That means the quarter will be ending in exactly 2 weeks! Which means, you get to choose your 2 explaritories all over again, unless you enjoy your classes now, then you can choose them over again! Your options are: Band, Drums, P.E., French, Art, Choir, Newspaper, Technology, Photography, Bookmaking, and Welding! Because the 2nd quarter is ending that means you need to start getting all your points for the pride trip! We are going to BrianHead! Speaking of points Mr.Cluff is at 38, Ms.Osborn is at 35, Mr.Sidford is at 28, Mrs.Wertz is at 31, and Mr.Zierow is at 31, tying with Mrs.Wertz. Start earning points for your homeroom and for the pridetrip! :)

Letter From The Soldiers::)

We recieved the a letter from the soldiers, who we sent all of the supplies to in the month of November.

This is what they said;

To the children of Meadow Valley Middle School,
My soldiers and I just took a very long flight to Afghanistan. We will be here for a year. By the time we arrived in Kandahar- we were very low on bath supplies!
Thanks so much for your wonderful boxes of supplies!:)
It was great to re-stock some much needed items! It was also so very sweet to know you guys are thinking of us!

girls basketball team

The girls have a game on Friday in Ely. We hope we win! Also, we have a game in St.George that Saturday! It is going to be a busy weekend! There is a 7Th and 8Th grade team. We have been practicing every night except for the weekend. The time as been at 6:30 P.M! We have already improved a lot. I hope you come and support the basketball team!
